We finished watching this, but only out of curiosity. My 10 year old son even said it was dissappointing. We usually love movies too! John C. McGinley, who portrays the realtor, contractor, mid-wife, etc. is terrible (or maybe it's just his lines), but IT ISN'T FUNNY!
It is true this movie has some laughs, but straight-laced middle or upper class Americans will probably take more insult than pleasure out of seeing some street-smart kids who like to torture their stepfather and disrepect him.The Hawaiian construction teen making comments on the 13-year-old's booty, and her subsequent sneaking to go to a "makeout party" were distastefulMovie makers should keep in mind that young kids are highly impressionable by movies, music and television and they should not glamorous immoral behavior.

Awesomely funny movie for the whole family. A MUST see!
This movie was surprisingly better than I expected! Better than some of the other new kid's movies that are out right now. I was entertained enough and it was funny.
