Arbitrage

1. You do not go across the Triboro to get to Manhattan from a private plane. They land in Westchester. 2. You cannot get to a car crash site upstate by taking I-95. It goes to Connecticut. Also I-95 has a toll in New York State. 3. An arbitrage firm is a broker-dealer. It could not hide trading positions for as long as portrayed in the movie. A week tops. Maybe two weeks with extensive collusion. Certainly cannot hide using profits from other divisions. Firm needed to be an investment adviser to have his scheme make sense. (e.g. Bernie Madoff) This spoiled it for me. Stupid, stupid movie. Richard Gere was, for the first time, awful. Susan Sarandon was great but in a terrible movie.

This movie is a real loser. The so called plot was thinner then a piece of Paper. Really a big waste of time. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

Predictable, disappointing, a B-. Acting was okay..not intense or moving. Outcome was a fairy tale.

Richard Gere is as usual flat. The character development is lacking. Wouldn't recommend it.

A very good movie, Gere is great. Pity Sarandon has only one great scene.
