The good thing about this film is that unlike most horror films that I saw in the eighties is that it was horrorfying then and it is still scary now. Majority of the horror films that were presented in the eighties were good as far as being entertaining, but unlike this film it managed to keep viewers locked into the mode of wanting to cover their face, jump, or grab on to somebody. Fred Krueger was more frightening in this film then any Nightmare On Elm St. film to follow.

LOVE THIS MOVIE. Saw it at the Aero Theatre on March 29th with LIVE commentary by Wes Craven. This is a classic horror film.
