An important issue and great story. The plot is interesting with strength changing between characters and some courtroom drama. I liked the writing and direction and thought it was well done for an indie film. Unusual twists, so go without expectations for an enjoyable evening out! Elissa Goldstein and Candice Holdorf gave strong performances, as well as Eric Eterbari, Rachael Robbins and others.

Not bad for an independent film

Although I was hoping for homerun with this LGBT marriage filmI had to settle for solid double and would give it a six out of ten. My biggest issus with the film were that the story veers off into a thriller which takes away from the main storyline. If you only pay attention to the ******* plot you are in for a quality film. The two leads, who happen to have the least film credits, carry this film. Samantha is played by Elissa Goldstein while Terry is played by Candice Holdorf. Both of these actresses will have you rooting for Gay marriage rights through their strong acting skills. Blanche Baker and Eric Etebari have strong performances while Director Jana Mattioli does a great job with the script provided.

    Horrendous

The first group of moviegoers walked out in 10 minutes. We walked out after 30 and the group next to us was talking about leaving as well. We thought this would be a good movie - to see how they portray the issues, the gender bending, the drama. The acting was poor, over-dramatic, and trite. The characters were all stereotypes. This movie lacked acting, directing, screenplay, and sound track. I applaud them for bringing the issues to mainstream movie theaters but nobody is going to stick around to watch the whole thing.
