  Best Picture Showcase

  We had a great time! Comfortable seats, great crowd, neat giveaways, and convenient location all made the experience even finer. Watching 5 movies in one 24-hr excursion was a unique and unexpected treat. We'd certainly do it again if the movies were good. Thanks for such a cool idea perfectly executed!

  AMC Best Picture Showcase

  I loved it! It did not seem to be too well organized at first. The tickets were not available at the Box Office or any kiosk that I saw (as was mentioned) but by asking a ticket taker, he directed us to the Customer Service Desk. She gave me the tickets without delay when I gave her my credit card, but she said nothing about getting a lanyard or how the popcorn thing worked. (We later found out from someone inside the theater that you had to keep your bag and get refills in it the whole day.) No one stopped us to register when we went past the table in the middle of the hall on our way to Theater #18. No one told us that if you got a large drink that you could have free refills all day (I had gotten a medium size one.) I heard several theater goers say that they hoped next year the AMC Best Picture Showcase would be held in the VIP theater. Is there any chance of having a showing of pictures with winning actors/actresses in them, the week after the Academy Awards?
