Best Picture Showcase 2011 Oscar Nominees
Loved all the movies! Great way to see some of the best films of the year. We saw "The Kings Speech" - my favorite overall for writing, directing, acting and being a well-acted, well-told story that was wholesome and inspirational and could be shared with the entire family - any age.
Inception and The Black Swan were also terrific (although black swan could have done without some gratuitous scenes and Inception could have been pulled together a little bit more. The direction, idea, story, Marion and Leo made the film. Personally, I thought the young girl was miscast. Her performance was a little stiff and awkward.)
The Social Network was right up there with King's Speech, but I'm still creeped out by Mark Z.
