    My Favorite of All Time

Almost Famous has so many great elements woven nearly seamlessly into the story. It can be seen as a lighthearted look at the later years of rock and roll, but there are deeper stories there too. Dysfunctional relationships, band power struggles, a grown daughter trying to live her own life, a boy making his way in the world, and at the heart of it all, one of the most sincere love stories. Kate Hudson literally shines in this movie.
