Disappointed
Not the disaster that many claim but quite a disappointment. No character development for any of the actors involved. This film plays more like an action film than a thriller.
Tyler Perry isn't the problem here, it's more with the script and the fact that the Cross character is so brilliant, that he literally solves the initial crime within 2 minutes of entering the crime scene. Fox makes an imposing, if not physical presence but all the actors aren't given anything to work with.
We won't talk about the climax, which was rushed. I'm inclined now to read the book to truly see what was missing from this flick.
