One again Tyler Perry amazes and keeps me glued to the screen. I'm usually a big Madea fan but when this movie came out I decided I had to see it. There is a couple scenes where a Madea's personality trickles out, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did it for fun. The movie was a little dark, the bad guy did some things that made me cringe and look away. But all in all it was a great movie.

From Madea to a detective. It was a GREAT CROSSOVER MOVIE! Had me on the edge of my seat!!!!! GOING TO SEE THIS AGAIN!!!!!

It was a really good movie. I was really shocked! It kept my attention. I reccomend you go see this movie

The book was better

Mis-casting (not great on the chief of police, etc)... and little depth explored in the movie. The bad guy should have been developed more --- pain is his calling? the movie was too light on the psychological development or the demonstration of this terrible man. Not enough also to see the complexity as to why Dr. Cross was a genius detective. Overall very generalized. Camera work was not great in much of the action portions of the film. I love Mr. Patterson- but unfortunately, Hollywood did not do him justice with this film.

Wait for the Red Box Deal

Not a bad movie ,but 4 sure not worth the cost of today's movie and food/candy.
The movie takes you on several rides/plots,
just when you think it is getting good it's over what a drop off. Acting was not bad the movie just left you saying that's it , it's over what ! ! , really no no no.

Can't believe how bad the acting & dialogue was in this flick. Matthew's portrayal of a psycho was the movie's only saving grace that kept me from walking out. I'll never see another Perry movie again, that's for sure.

Matthew Fox as the killer was by far the only worthwhile part of this movie. He was intense, attention grabbing and all around awesome. Tyler Perry on the other hand really should just stick to what he knows best The Lord, plays, movies based off those plays and making African-Americans 'feel' better. His acting was clumsy and over we'll under done. It just felt wrong. Don't waste your $$ or time.

I didn't like Tyler Perry.

Solid action Thriller

Gr8 Main characters. Straight down the tallest steepest rollercoaster to tears and back.

Just Horrible

Except for Matthew Fox playing a bad guy, there aas nothing good about this movie. An hour and a half was not long enough. Tyler Perry is not a strong serious actor...he should stick with dressing up as a woman. Some sceens he showed too much emotion...others too little. This movie had so much potential too bad it didn't measure up.
