It's odd to describe as fluff a teen pic about drug trafficking & abuse, sex as the obvious outcome of attraction, and peer counseling. In the 'can't take your eyes off' category, Robert Downey Jr is the winner, with Hope Davis as a close second. Everyone else is clean, handsome, well-groomed, charming, fit, smart, righteously indignant and predictable. It was like watching a teen version of CSI: Miami (without the color), where everyone regardless of role is beautiful and immaculately dressed. So what is the point of the movie? It could only be to supply SAG cards to a young stable of actors, all with potential, whose names I already forget. My children loved it.
