To Kill A Mockingbird is the first movie I remember seeing by myself in my hometown theatre as an impressionable 9 year old in 1963. I loved it then as I love it now. So many wonderful messages in the book and film. Thank you, Harper Lee, for helping set my compass toward "walking around in another person's shoes."

Thank you, TCM, for bringing it to the big screen. It would be fantastic to see more of our yesteryear films resurrected in this way.
