This classic movie's message never gets old. It's about racism, hate, love, and above all family. Atticus Finch is the father we all wish we had, and Gregory Peck's performance is spot on. I think seeing this movie as a child, and then as an adult., gave me the opportunity to view it with different "eyes". As a child I loved watching Scout, Jem and Dill have their adventures, closed my eyes when the snuck into Boo Radley's yard, and was frightened of Bob Ewell. As an adult I saw the injustice, the dignity and world-weariness of Atticus,
and the fierce love he had for his children.

If you haven't seen this, rent it. If you have, see it again -- you won't regret it.
