The opera was fantastic! I was totally engaged for the entire 3.5 hours I was at the theater. However, I was disappointed that almost 1/2 of the seats in the small theater were "saved" by contacts of people who were not at the theater when we arrived 1/2 hour before showtime.. The only seats which were not "saved" were in the very first row. We would appreciate a policy which states that attendees must be in their seats, or the " saver" must show the actual tickets of the seats they are "saving" (signifying that the attendee is actually in the theater). It is not fair for those who arrive early to be shut out of the best seats by those who are not even at the theater. It seems that a few acquaintances can arrive early and save multiple seats for their friends. This behavior will prevent my attending any more simulcasts.
