This production dating from the mid 1990s is scenically and musically a gem. Previous reviews in this website call it a drag, but it could nothing farther from being so. The voices of Botha, Fleming, and the diabolically evil Iago played by Falk Struckmann could not have been more compelling. Verdi's music is at the top of his craft. The Met orchestra provided the moving sense of the story. Highly recommend this production, and would love to see it in ENCORE.
