A Good Year. A So-so Flick.
Unless a movie is a fantasy or sci-fi thing, I really dislike seeing key plot twists that turn on implausible, nonsensical events. But if you're the sort who stares right through such strained scenes, and you won't tire of endless close-ups of Russell Crowe's always-stubble-covered mug, you'll likely enjoy this one.
The scenery and atmosphere give the best performances in this movie. Add the actors and a basically good story line and you get a pretty good, light-hearted, enjoyable date flick.
