Willis still has it when playing this role. i've enjoyed all of his previous Die Hard movies, and this one is no exception. He's still kicking ***as his character John.

I love Die Hard. I watch it every Christmas no matter where I am or who I am with. "Ho, Ho, Ho". It has so many memorable moments and great character elements weaved into the plot, it stands out in the sea of generic action flicks that have come and gone throughout the ages. Sadly, the franchise hasn't been so lucky.
They don't give me enough space here to say what I really want to say about this movie and the franchise, but I'll just leave it at this: A Good Day to Die Hard is a bunch of big explosions tied together by weak and possibly even more unbelievable dialogue. It doesn't know if it wants to be a Jason Bourne spy movie or a more traditional Die Hard action movie. Sadly, it fails at both. Courtney Jai could preform some great hand-to-hand action scenes and I'm fairly sure Bruce could as well, but the action in this movie is delegated to waving machine guns around in the air and huge, ungodly explosions.
No memorable moments or dialogue, no redeeming qualities.

come on bruce.
I love the witty one liners but seriously this movie was awful. No strength in the plot. action was cheesy and unrealistic. Most of it wasn't even bad funny. JUST PLAIN BAD. I would give this a negative rating. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

The only reason people are going to see this movie is because of the great scripts, action packed 3 former films and the return of Bruce Willis. However, this movie is not like any of the first 3 films. This one fell way short! The diaglogue and plot was virtually non-existant and when they did speak it was dry and flat. The script was terrible, and if you could call that a plot, it was so predictable that you didn't even have to think about it. The movie was basicly the same non stop action that you have seen before. My advice? Save your money and watch something else.

Let me start by saying all the haters should lay off. The Die hard franchise has a formula that works, if you go in expecting Lincoln material you'll be disappointed.
That being said I love these movies and hope they can continue for as long as old Bruce can handle it. There are a ton of old age references throughout the movie that add humor to it. The opening 20min with the highway chase is some of the best action to date..
This Movie isn't rocket science and it's not claiming to be but if you like action and/or the franchise go see it. You'll love it..
