This movie, as with the other Die Hards, is packed with action from beginning to end. Bruce Willis never disappoints and handles the more emotional parts of the plot with believable, tough guy sensitivity. There are a few twists which, if you are watching carefully, you will see coming. I wish the makers of the movie would have made it a bit longer to better develop the plot of the action part of the movie a bit better but they did develop it just enough to keep it fun and interesting. Using both moving (POV) and stationary cameras to convey the action, the movie kept you on the edge of your seat for most of the time. Willis is a master of controlled humor and emotion and filled the screen with that skill. Seeing it in IMAX made the action scenes even more enveloping. My husband and I left the theater feeling as though our time was well spent enjoying a good movie. On a 1-5 rating, I'd give it a 4.5 for fun, action and enjoyable.

Once this film got going it was non-stop action. There was no need for much dialouge since the bulletts were always flying and cars were wrecking. A good movie to see if you just want to sit back and enjoy.

this movie is like most "Die Hard" movies but isn't that what we want? it was worth going to see and I enjoyed the action. Bruce is Die Hard and now with a son in the action I see more coming. I will tell others to see it. I saw it in IMAX and am not sure that was worth it but I really enjoyed the movie.

The movie was okay...I think. This was our first IMAX "experience" since they began showing "commercial" films and, well, the "experience"--at least in this instance--was a total of a lot of very loud noise. I'm not talking about the state of the art movie theater loud. I'm talking about 5-10 times that loud. So loud that at points it actually distracted you from the movie, made you miss what was taking place.
And that was it. Before the movie they showed a promo about "getting the audience ready for the IMAX experience" and that promo was exceptionally COOL. Much cooler than the movie, visually. 10 times cooler, visually. If all you're looking for is loud so loud you walk out dizzy, go for it. Otherwise, wait for another venue.
The movie itself was not that bad: cliches that didn't get in the way too much; plot-lines that you could see staring out at you if you didn't really let yourself get distracted by the violence. I still think #3 was best (my wife? #1).
