Betrayal, lost love and redemption. Mads Mikkelsen is incredibly apealing as a believable, good-hearted social activist, who has has for years demonstrated his life long decision of helping the true poor of the world. He is on the front lines giving all he has daily, including his heart to the children. It doesn't hurt that he is hot, hot, hot physically. This is the beginning of a true female fantasy. "He's perfect. So what if he's fictional." - paraphrased from the movie "The Purple Rose of Cairo". Fortunately, this movie contains 100% believability in the characterizations, acting and storyline. Particularly touching is a pivotal scene between the older millionaire and his young wife near the end of the movie. This well directed and well edited film really hits the mark. Ladies, don't miss the greatest 3 hanky movie of all time!

From a movie-goer that enjoys good character development, this is definitely a movie to see. The actors are tremendous, real, and extremely believable. The facial expressions, the range of emotions, the revealing of information about the history and motives of the players... If you enjoy a movie that takes you through the an entire range of feelings and mixes in some unique surprises, you will enjoy this movie.

I liked the movie because it is not Hollywood movie. It has a different color and way of showing the story. Mads Mikkelsen character is so good and convincing. The plot maybe it looks quiet simple but it has a deep meaning.

My husband and I see a movie almost every week and it takes quite a bit to impress us. This movie impressed us. From the opening cinematagraphy, to the superb acting, the music chosen, and ofcourse the storyline, it was an excellent, excellent film. You don't even notice the sub-titles because you are so engrossed with the story. The emotions are raw, the relationships feel so real. It is a must see movie for anyone who is truly a fan of film.
