    great

seriously. This movie had everything. Action, suspense, solid plot, Samuel L. Jackson...nothing was missing! It was a little bit in the style of shows like Meerkat Manor, but spanned a greater period of time. Some really incredible shots of animals you only get to see in zoos. I would see it again.

    African Cats

Following the stories of a lion pride and cheetah family was intriguing and easy to follow with thorough narration and beautiful cinematography! I took my three children, 9, 8, and 4 years old and we all enjoyed it immensely!

African cats great for older kids and adults, not for younger kids

    by

We brought our 3 year old and 5 year old to this movie because it was rated "G". I'm really not sure how it could be rated "G". Our 3 year old was crying within the first 30 minutes when the cheetah or lion took down their first prey. My husband and 3 year old ended up leaving the movie shortly after. I loved the story but I just wouldn't take my kids to it because it is a true taste of reality in the wild and thus has happy and sad parts.
