AFFLUENZA grabs you from the opening scene and doesn't let you go. This cast that director Kevin Asch assembled is so talented and so real. Asch brings us into a world that most have never known; rich kids, parents whose lives are not as perfect as outsider, Fisher Miller, soon discovers. It may be thought of as the "teen movie of the summer" but it's much, much more. I saw it in a mixed audience...teens, young adults and several seniors. Everyone was captivated by the pace, the music, the drama and the lightness within the drama. You laugh and you stare, but you can't let go for a second. AFFLUENZA is not for very young children but it's for everyone else and my friends and I keep thinking about the messages within this superb film. See it!! It's one you'll remember for a very long time.
