High hopes

I had high hopes for this movie as it had two of my favorite people, Tina Fey and Paul Rudd. Both great comedic actors. But it fell flat and I kept wondering when it would all be over. Totally not what I expected. The highlight? Definitely Lily Tomlin.

What a waste of two, attractive, competent stars in a lame comedy. The film didn't know what it was: rom com? comedy? satire? Just a pedestrian mess. Couldn't wait for it to end.

Too bad

I starting out being a better movie than I thought it'd be. But the screenwriter couldn't figure out how to end it -- so the ending was a downer. Too bad. It could have been much better if the ending had been better. B.H.

Good movie, but not really a comedy

Enjoyed the movie and the acting by all was great. More a light drama/romance versus a comedy however. They should have marketed and previewed it much differently.

Good for a Rainy Afternoon

Not a 'must-see' movie, but worth it for the actors and their complex characters, especially Lily Tomlin. You will not fall out of your seat laughing, but definitely get a few giggles here and there.
