A cliché-ridden piece of crap. Poor acting and stupid script. And what about that supposed Russian professor of literature? I cannot believe how stupid this movie is.

I had high hopes for this movie as I like Paul Rudd, and thought Tina Fey was a funny actress. I was sadly mistaken on the entire thing. The plot was unbelievable (in a bad way) and I laughed maybe three times, and it was no where near the belly laugh I was looking for. I couldn't wait for it to end. I spent $50, brought 3 people with me, got screwed out of good seats, and the only "good time" I had was the drive to and from the place! Upsetting but better luck next time. OH YEAH, and there was no chemistry between Rudd and Fey. Don't make actors have relationships if they can't make us believe it!

The movie is billed as a romantic comedy, and with Fey and Rudd you would expect as much. Unfortunately, it falls short on the comedy portion and develops a much more dramatic element that at times turns somewhat dark. Occasional slow points don't help.
Overall the story line is good and the characters are entertaining, just not quite what we were expecting when we walked into it based on writeups and trailers.

Was a decent movie. Like the characters and acting. Was great to see Lilly Tomlin. Worth seeing at a matinee pricing.

This movie in a nutshell was two + hours of my life that could have been better spent. The acting was reasonably okay and I have always liked Paul Rudd--but the premise felt contrived and the ending was very much of a letdown. Needless to say, I will NOT be ordering this one when it comes to Blu Ray nor will I waste my time and money to see it a second time at the theater.
