So I'm a fan of the original and I'm a fan of this one. Totally different, but you will fall in love with this one because of the actors.

The movie is very, very funny, but it was so much profanity! Other than that, I was laughing so hard and so were the others in attendance! If you need a good laugh, please go!

This movie was horrible. Every scene with Kevin Hart was just plain irritating. The man isn't funny at all. He talks super fast, has nothing to say when he does, and he is so irritating there is no way to like his character even remotely, or to pull for him in any way for something good to happen to him. I love movies and I never have walked out on one, but I walked out on this one. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

My daughter was gracious enough to go with me to see the movie, she's a big fan of Kevin Hart. I was looking forward to a night of comedy with a romantic twist. The movie didn't disappoint in that regard but I thought there were too many raunchy scenes of angst, sex, sex with angst and not enough character development. I thought the story line between Michael Ealy's character and the pub owner was sweet. The first half of the movie had a lot of funny scenes but the 2nd half not so much. The ending was plausible and not syrupy sweet kind of a nice change of pace. I grew up in an era when black love was rarely expressed on the large screen if at all, now we get sex but no love. I'd like to see a little more love.

I attended the movie on opening night with my sorority sisters. Needless to say, we had a awesome time watching this moving. Funny...YES! Captivating...YES. Easy to follow...YES! Relate-able...YES! Two thumbs up, a must see comedy but serious movie.
