Good Movie. Edge of seat action.

I took 3 kids ages 12-14. We all liked the movie. Action was good, acting was good, suspenseful until the end. Storyline a little complex for the kids. They got the overall concept. For parents concerned about the rating: Said the F word once (that I picked up on.) The sexual content reference was in the train scene when they start kissing. They take off their jackets (only) and Taylor picks up the girl so her legs are wrapped around her waist. That's as far as it goes and it ends pretty quickly. In my opinion, it is fine for 12+ so rating is appropriate but parents must judge where their kids are at on this topic. I'm sure there was other minor cursing but was too involved in the story to pick up on it. There is a great amount of action in the movie-great for the guys. I think dads would like it, too. The action was a little much for the girls. The movie previews and ads prior to the movie were much more problematic than the movie itself. Go! You won't be sorry!

    Abduction

I loved this film. I also thought the acting was just terrific, I mean for Taylor to come all this way from like the other films he has done, it's just really amazing to see, I am like so impressed with his acting I really look up to him, an I think the director did a fantastic job with this movie meaning obviously with the directing stuff an all that. I would probably also say that this movie if anyone were to see it would be for teenagers an adults just because of certain things that happen in the movie, but over all I think this movie was just honestly fantastic! =)

    check it out

I liked it, one of the best Ive seen in a while. I didn't like the teen soft porn though; when the young couple was on the train.

    I Enjoyed it

Taylor Lautner is a visual sight and yes that was my impetus for seeing this movie. While Taylor still has some acting classes to take (facial and body expressions needed), he did a very good job handling the physical action needed for this part. Surprisingly, Taylor is surrounded by top notch actors that drive this movie (Alfred Molina, Maria Bello, Sigourney Weaver). Great storyline which sets the movie up for a sequel.

    Eh

Taylor Lautner has more charisma than practically every other Twilight actor combined, and it shows through here as he portrays a teenager on the run after he finds out his parents aren't his real parents and after he sees them both murdered. Yet Lautner just is still too much of a pretty boy to pull off the badassness needed for this role.

Not as good as i thought

The preview of the movie showed most all of the twists , so there was really no surprises in the movie. The so-called romance in the movie was just a bit lame, Lily Collins was not really believable , she needs a lot of work on her acting.

Loved It! Was on the edge of my seat the whole time

I LOVED this movie. It was a really good action movie and it had a lot of suspense in it. Taylor did an amazing job in my opinion and he fits the bad*** role perfectly. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. This movie is a must-see!!!!

    Super - Especially for Teens

    by Koali

The movie has a purpose to me which is: if I didn't have a mother or a father, It gives a chance to say 'Hey maybe..' It sparks a dream. Why not? Beats a void. Someone thought about someone else when they made it - not just how to capitalize. Taylor Lautner does a really good job here- it's an action movie with villains. He is highly recognized by teens and a physical actor who is experienced in delivering the goods. Lily Collins plays a quiet soft spoken, good friend and neighbor caught up in this intrigue and action packed movie. Sigorney Weaver has the best line of the movie I thought "there'll be time to deal with the emotional part but now you've got to get your s--t together." This movie is a good one - for those in parent missing or absent situations - can spark a dream. I took one star away for violence.

    Abduction

    by uwho2u

    The Movie was good.
A nice departure for Taylor Lautner since his Twilight series.
The filming and pace of the movie was good and didn't drag.
Very easy to follow the story line, action scenes were well done.

    Abduction review

Hmmm... A little over the top! Good action but not quite realistic. Was also hard understanding why all of these people were after this 15 year old kid? So, you may be entertained but don't be suprised if you roll your eye's a few times.
