As beautiful as a painting, as violent as those times, and done in a way that will stick with me
for a long time. I cannot recommend it for everyone...the pace is slow and dream like....the obvious lack of much dialog creates an experience much like stepping into the painting and living alongside the characters. It helps to explain the symbolic images in the painting, but this movie experience is unlike any other and i suspect may not be an enjoyable one for many.
Not enough to recommend seeing or to skip. It was just ok for me....
Both men and women will be touched by this very moving (although not FAST moving) story of a man so
full of humanity he calms everyone around him. In documentary form, this movie patiently tells the story of a tortured boy who matures into an adult with so much heart and soul... that he can communicate with horses. He takes his gift around the country and gives 4 day seminars to horse owners and thru his work, offers a real life example of how to "be"..
A great movie for parents, those who deal with older adults or with troubled teens. This man is a potential role model for any living interaction ....with animals or people. If we all can't strive to be like him, it is good to know that this real live man is walking this planet helping as many as he can reach. A gentle super hero!
This movie should be playing in more theatres!
Beasts of the Southern Wild
Midnight in Paris
The Kids Are All Right
The Girl Who Played With Fire
In the Valley of Elah
Stand Up Guys
Les Miserables (2012)
