This was another exciting and action packed Die Hard movies. The plot never gets old .. John is minding his own business, gets involved with a really outrageous circumstance, is beaten, bloodied and generally mistreated but endures it all and vanquishes the villians. I still like it, in a new setting, lots of action with broken glass, cars, guns and bad guys getting their due. I wonder where John will find his next adventure? ...(read more)
This was an outstanding presentation of the classic novel. It did not completely conform to the novel but captured the essence well, following the varied threads on the challenges of man and some resolution. I was also impressed by the singing performances of actors who had not previously demonstrated that talent. The singing was good, not great, but well done. I think that the visual presentation, digital and costumes, provided a outstanding environment of the times (although I obviously cannot comment on the authenticity). ...(read more)
We were impressed with the presentation of the Hobbit. The previous cartoon version did not do Tolkein's work just but this one did with the new digital technology. It is well worth viewing. ...(read more)
