Well this is the 1st Peter Jackson movie I left feeling totally unsatisfied! Not disappointed, just unsatisfaied. 1st he tells the story behing the story, which is great if you never read the book, and for my daughter this was true. She really enjoyed the movie having only seen the cartoon movie. Gandolf was in it in far too many scenes, unlike the book. I also hated where the movie left off, not to mention we have to wait a whole year, not just 6 months, but a year and for us oldsters that's a long time and then another 6 months after that, and for us over 60 fans some of us may not be around for the GRAND FINALE! ...(read more)
This was a wonderful family movie. Lots of great moments in time. Lots of crying and laughing, and such a satisflying ending. I loved this movie and I think anyone would alos love it. ...(read more)
