As a totally obssessed, long time fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. CC did a good job of
gearing the movie so that non-fans could understand and enjoy it. There had to be some mention of some things that happened in the series for the movie to make sense, in that M&S were living in seclusion like they were. The plot may have been slow in some places, but reminded me very much of a plot that could have happened in an episode of the show. The plot was very creepy. The hospital was "spooky", even the Dr's there were "spooky." Father Joe was a very interesting character. M&S both seemed to have been tired of chasing monsters with a butterfly net, but Mulder being Mulder had to get back into the paranormal or unexplained. He is a very empathetic individual. He also felt somewhat betrayed by how the FBI had treated him. All in All, from a fans standpoint, I give it 4 stars, and from a non fan's view, I give it 3 stars. I'm seeing it again tomorrow!!!!
