I pretty much think Trey Parker is a genius. No, this isn't his best effort. But it's not trying to
be. If you aren't easily offended by sex humor or Mormon jokes you should find something to like in this parody of the porn industry.
Not the best John Hughes film. Not in my top list of 80s teen movies. But a lot of fun and worth
Two nerdy teens, desperate to fit in, are driven to create the perfect woman on their computer. What (straight) teenage male has not fantasized about having the perfect woman who actually *gasp* likes him? Totally 80s cheesy with some fantastic lines. I think this would be a good one to remake; with its theme of social acceptance, the plot would fit right in with current feelings on nerds and bullying. I would be very happy if they remade this.
To be fair, I am not a fan of this series. I see the movies with my husband because he is a big
gamer. I find all of them unmemorable and this is the worst of the lot. I see a lot of reviewers impressed with the 3D. I'm sorry, visual affects will never win me over to a movie. Perhaps I'm too old school but whatever. This movie was boring. Uninspired plot. Snore inducing action.
