This was spun as a comedy and it was really a sad story about a woman who is very unhappy about her life and drinks all of her troubles away or at least tries to do so. Then, after a failed marriage and an unhappy life, she goes back to her small hometown in hopes of stealing her boyfriend from 15-20 years ago from his wife who just had a newborn baby.
