An enjoyable, emotional story... one that may be impossible to forget. The cinematography was
gorgeous, showing a new side to lions I never knew existed.
This is not a movie for the faint of heart though. You will see animals fighting for survival. Nature is not forgiving and it truly is eat or be eaten in this heart-wrenching film. There are tearful moments, but it’s the real Africa that everyone needs to see.
Great call-to-action at the end, imploring the audience to give a small donation to save these magnificent beasts.
My only issue is the annoying personification of the lions throughout the movie by the commentator. I understand this was done to narrate a story rather than comment on pure animal behavior, but at times it was stretching reality a bit. How are we to know that a lion can feel anger and seeks revenge? But it didn't take away from the movie. It is still a must-see.
