The dramatic of this movie, is hidden in characters' hearts. We're looking at how they struggle to
find a way dealing with their complicated feelings and emotions, and how they want to save more lives to make up for their sorrow past. Unfortunately, the well-editing trailer made us expect an exciting adventure, not a self-exploration journey. X-Files is good at using criminal background people to be important guides, giving us "believe or not to believe" question. Somehow this trick is used so many times that it becomes old-fashioned to intrigue the audience. The directing is decent but not slick enough. The story can be more strong but it quickly slips away. It feels like we're restudying old materials but gaining no new insights. I miss what once X-Files gives us, but they need to think something new, or at least they need to tell the idea in more gripping way.
