The movie is fun -- better than I was led to believe from the reviews and the poor box office. I think Universal just released it at a bad time -- too close to THE AVENGERS, which everyone completely underestimated. I really liked the movie. It's not perfect, certainly (the "talking" wolves didn't work and the pacing was too leisurely in places) but the fact that we concentrate on Bella and Edward and the love story that got them into this fix in the first place is what moved me. I thought the wedding and honeymoon scenes were lovely -- very touching -- and the pregnancy/birth sequences were much less disquieting than they were in the book. So now I'm ready for part 2: too bad we have to wait a year! If you're a fan of this series you have to see this movie. ...(read more)
