Okay, three separate sets, by three disparate bands, filmed by different directors in different
locations, with tremendously varying success.
Gogol Bordello is the only set that utilizes the 3D filming to its' benefit. Filmed in NYC, with a great skyline in the background - this sis the only segment whose director does anything different with the knowledge he's creating something in 3D! Hands come right into the camera, guitar necks protrude into the audience - this is what 3D is supposed to be about.
Ben Harper's set is a mess. A different location, different evening, and more shots of the incredibly overweight drummers belly rolls and "love handles", more like "love pylons," than you would ever care to see, it makes you, literally, sick to your stomach, while watching his. In 3D.
Dave Matthews set was musically fine, but the camera work is more like bad snapshots of the stage than art, and the 3D is NEVER utilized to the films' benefit. Go see a real live show instead.
