4 STARS: We really enjoyed seeing it! As with any of the other Andrew Lloyd Webber productions the
music score for “Love Never Dies” was strong and powerful. Anna O’Byrne as Christine Daae was superb. You will not forget her great performance singing “Love Never Dies”. Ben Lewis as The Phantom was terrific. You could really sense the Phantoms love and desire for Christine to sing one more time while he sang “Til I Hear You Sing”. The portrayal of early 1900 Coney Island was done very well. Being set in Coney Island, the production did not require the majestic & opulent Paris Opera House settings that we saw in Webber’s “Phantom Of the Opera”. No one will ever top such an elaborate production again. “Love Never Dies” focuses on “The Phantom – Christine – Raoul” triangle and the viewers will not be disappointed. Being a Fathom Event, unless you see the production in person, you can’t get a better seat to see & hear such a majestic performance on the big screen! Rich from Saratoga.
