I rate this a B+. It had a lot of REAL life moments in it but the constant fighting and screaming
got to be a bit of a distraction from what this movie could have been....showing both the good and the bad of 40... instead of leaning toward the bad. The performances were all great ...full of the denial, angst, and realizations that come with middle age. Leslie Mann is fantastic, the oldest daughter who I assume really is a teenager does a good job being an obnoxious one. However be on the look out for Melissa McCarthy's couple of scenes because they steal the show and are laugh out loud funny!! Make sure to stay for the start of the credits to get an extended look at her scene and how everyone else had to try and hold it together while she goes on a 2 minute rant...VERY FUNNY. Go and enjoy.
