My holiday gift to my family was taking everyone to see "GWTDT" and we all loved it. The acting was great, Daniel Craig was compelling and Rooney Mara will become a big star after this. This movie is definitely NOT for kids. Even some adults may be disturbed by some of the elements (torture/rape/violence). However, it is all done tastefully and not "just for the heck of it," it has a purpose to the story. I really want to read the books and see the original Swedish films as well.
