This movie was better than I expected. Went along because my kids wanted to go, and it really was
a decent story, great 3-D effects, and very catchy songs. Wouldn't be surprised if this is the next "Seussical" since the songs were really pretty good. Even my husband liked it, and he usually finds these kids movies torturous. Kids really liked it.

It was okay--as usual, the kids (10, 10, & 11) enjoyed it. I thought the 3D was good, but it was
not the best story line, and a little silly--kind of a take off on cop movies with animated characters. Way too many "hood" jokes--the characters were not that interesting either. The old grandma who can do all the spy moves (a la Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible) is really old at this point (no pun intended), and you don't really care about "Red" at all. The wolf, squirrel and side characters are okay. Overall, most adults won't like the movie, but younger kids will still like the 3D and animation (most likely).
