Story of these brave men is great, movie not so much First - the good: the CGI brought what the air war over Europe probably was to life. Opportunities for improvement: 1) dialogue was terrible (example: "I don't think I am going to make", "what do you mean you're not going to make it?", "I think I am dieing", "What do you mean you think you're dieing") 3) while the CGI was 3D, the characters were 2D - great young and established actors wasted 2) factually incorrect - these men did great things but the movie was factually incorrect. They did persevere in a racist environment and proudly prevailed. They had a combat record that was extraordinary; they are credited with not losing a bomber in their care. These were and are amazing accomplishments. This is what the movie should have highlighted. Instead they chose other aspects that were not correct. They were not the first pilots to stick with the bombers, they were not the first fighters to escort bombers to Berlin ...(read more)
