I took my grandson to see this movie and we both enjoyed it. He is 8 years old and could not believe people were treated this way back then. I think he came away with a totally different attitude toward mankind. The next day I went to one of his baseball games and he was stealing bases just like Robinson.

We saw 42 yesterday and I was surprised how good the movie was. I laughed and I cried. Women will love this movie even if they are not baseball fans. I want to go to see it again.
I know a lot of young kids around 10 that love baseball and want to see this movie really bad. The parents have to explain how the Racial problem was in 1947.

Excellent movie! Not to be missed. It is a great testament to those that had to endure the issues of racism and those that learned to support equality. This is a great history lesson by wonderful actors.

Best movie I have seen in a long time! The acting was suburb and both Harrison form and Chadwick Boseman were just nothing short of magnificent! What an amazing man Jackie Robinson was! It brings me to tears to see what he had to endure as a black man coming into his own as a baseball player! I am humbled!

This was a movie that will probably be rated a classic. All the actors were perfectly cast in my opinion.
It had some very good moral lessons and I would rate it up there with "Blind Side"
It was very emotional at times for me.
I would tell anyone and everyone to go see the movie--any age.
