I loved this film. The acting was superb. I cried during this movie and became angry, too. This movie is for all ages. Jackie Robinson was a great leader......and a great player of America's favorite pastime.

Great movie about a real American hero who rose to great levels in the face of tremendous adversity. Harrison Ford gives an Oscar worthy performance as Branch Rickey.

Excellent portrayal of the introduction of Jackie Robinson into the world of professional baseball. It was quite illuminating as to what he had to endure in his first year with the Montreal farm team and then with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Two great heroes here: Jackie and Branch Rickey. Fantastic acting. Wouldn't mind seeing it again. Great film for everyone to see and be enlightened about the consequences of racial prejudice.

A must see film. Acting is great. Casting is great. People are realistic. Loved the vintage automobiles and buses. Harrison Ford is great. Good for kids, no sex, no blood, no explosions or other loud violence. Some profanity, and the "******" word is used a lot, which is quite shocking to hear these days, which is part of the point.
