A must see film. Acting is great. Casting is great. People are realistic. Loved the vintage automobiles and buses. Harrison Ford is great. Good for kids, no sex, no blood, no explosions or other loud violence. Some profanity, and the "*****" word is used a lot, which is quite shocking to hear these days, which is part of the point.

This was a great movie about a great ball player. With the jeers and verbal assaults being fired at Jackie, you felt like you were him. We were at the first showing in Rock Hill and were very glad that we saw it.

Took my two boys (12 and 14) to see 42 yesterday - we all loved it!! Great movie in every aspect - entertaining but also educational for our young. The younger generations need to see and hear what hardships others have endured to make their lives what they are today. Jackie Robinson was a hero to the boys of 1947 and should continue to be for the boys of 2013 and beyond!

The best baseball movie I have seen to date. I can assure you, you will come out of that theater with a whole not outlook on the game, not because its about one of the best players of the game but because of the history of the game itself. I think it should get best picture and Harrison Ford should get Best Supporting Actor, hands down.
I was a little disappointed at the amount it brought in but at least it was No. 1 this weekend and it beat out that worthless Scary Movie 5.

One of the best movies I have ever seen. A must see for everyone. Harrison Ford is outstanding, as is the young man who plays Jackie Robinson.
