This was a well done movie. I saw an interview with Harrison Ford and he said it was good for kids too because they can read about discrimination in that time but when you see a movie - you feel the experience. I whole heartedly agree. The vision Branch Rickey had and helped change the world as we know it today. We live in California and what we experienced here is nothing like the way it was in the South. Jackie Robinson was an amazing talented man. Quite the story..... You won't be disappointed in the movie..... Deeply Inspirational The loud audience applause agreed

This movie was amazing I loved it. Seriously like everything about it! Except that racism ever has to exist but yeah!

I enjoyed this movie. Being born and raised in MS it shows the actual reality of the painful past of the Negro. Even through trying times GOD has always had a Ram in the Bush.....

One of the best movies I have ever seen. A must see for everyone. Harrison Ford is outstanding, as is the young man who plays Jackie Robinson.

This is a great story for anybody, especially kids, who think "I can't" too often. For people who think that they don't have the resolve to overcome doubters. For people who think that failure actually is an option. Even though we know the legacy of Jack Robinson pretty well, how many of us actually know the story? My only complaint about the movie is that I wish it went deeper into his life story before making it to the Monarchs...we got bits and pieces of it through some of the dialogue, but I wish there would've been greater depth of insight into that part of his life...what really shaped him to be so steely in his resolve and passionate about self-advocacy? I know that would've made a 2 hour movie even longer, but when a great movie is 3 hours long, the time flies by (see Lincoln). Anyway, this is certainly a movie and a story and a lesson worth seeing...and please please please bring your kids to see what people have had to endure to have the opportunities we have today.
