I was slightly concerned about taking our 10 and 11 year old kids, because of it's PG-13 rating, but it must have gotten that rating because of the use of N word. There's no hiding the abuse Jackie Robinson took though. Both kids loved the movie and my husband and I loved it. In fact, tonight's packed theater applauded louder than I've heard in a Long time. This is a must see for families. It really opens the door for conversations about racial equality and our country's history.

Excellent film! I cried through the entire movie. Learning about what Jackie Robinson did not just for Baseball but for this country should be required history for every elementary school child in the United States. God Bless Jackie and Rachel, who by the way is 92 years young!

A friend & I went to see this movie & was all in it! It was fantastic - can't wait to see it again & share with anybody I can. All people should see this to see just how really bad it was & for the few that feel this way still - surely even they can see just how stupid they sound & look! The story & acting is superb! GO - I promise you can't regret it.

Excellent baseball movie and one more time how America has progressed but always more work to do. The courage of Jackie Robinson portrayed in the movie is inspirational for anyone.

Did an amazing job of bringing to life one of the most historical and controversial times in our country. I can't say it's the best movie I've seen this year, only because of Zero Dark Thirty. But I definitely put 42 right up there with Lincoln, Argo, and Flight.
