*Update: Thank you to all who participated. This giveaway entry period has now ended. Winners will be notified via e-mail.

---

Just in time for the holidays, we're giving away three gift bags full of Tintin prizes, including The Adventures of Tintin: The Game for Xbox. Steven Spielberg collaborated with producer Peter Jackson for the crowd-pleasing, IMAX 3D-animated film, which sails into theaters Wednesday, Dec. 21. That should be a big deal for all of you Spielberg fans, since he hasn't directed a feature film since 2008's Indiana Jones installment.

To enter our giveaway, simply post a comment to this blog post (one blog post comment per entrant please) with your answer to the following question: Which one of the Steven Spielberg-directed films is your favorite and why? Enter one comment only from now until Wednesday, Dec. 21, 5 p.m. PST, and we'll randomly select three winners for the gift bags.

Whenever someone mentions Steven Spielberg, I instantly think of ET! There hadn't been a movie like that in a long time, and that was a very happy time in my life-making for some great memories. Thanks for the opportunity!

All of those were good movies and good comments; I see one person agrees with me. I'm an older gal and I don't know if any of you remember E.T. but that is my favorite Steven Spielberg movie because that was the first time that I ever heard of some kind of creature other than human (N my childhood) from another place and time + it made me cry then and it makes me cry now.....

Wow, this difficult so many Classic films I like by Spielberg's: I would say E.T. it's one of my all time favorites. And the 1st film I saw w/my Mom & sister of his. It's a great Family Adventure film about a alien trying to get Home. E.T. phone Home, very emotional Family film. I also like Jurassic Park Franchise Hit. etc.,. etc.,.

It's a toss up between Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Raiders is great because it is a lot fun to watch Harrison Ford and Spielberg build Indiana Jones' character and exploits and Last Crusade because it has Sean Connery!

Interesting to see many others choose this one as well, but I gotta go with good ole Indy with the original Raiders of the Lost Ark. Just a classic film that I love watching, and really: Who doesn't want to be like Indy?

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial film is my favorite Steven Spielberg-directed films. I saw this movie back in 1982. I was only 21 years old. The movie really made me smile and laugh. It was a wonderful time in my life being so young and carefree.
