oNE OF THE MOST UNDER RATED MOVIE

OK... this is not for fans of twilight... this is one movie that is made with an intention with which vampire movies are usually made... intense, thrilling, I wont say scary, because ther have been scarier movies. Now for those to whom this might appeal as a B movie, then I have to say all vampire movies made till date are B movies cos I dont by any means have a reason to believe this movie was less intense, thrilling than any of the famed bram stoker movies out there. OK.. this is not one of those movies which wastes 75 percent of the screen time on the pretext of character development and expects us to feel for the characters..nor is this movie for people who like such stuff.. what works for 30don is its premise which is distinctly different.... The most common reason which usually has been shown to kill vampires is eliminated right in the beginning. If you want one movie that actually shows the real mean side of the vampires brutally in your face, it is 30 do

A vampire movie that's actually scary

    by redyeah

I was suprised how much I liked this. Usually vampire movies are either dull or just like every other vampire film. This has more than the usual. And it's actually creepy, intense and full of action. The ending is the only thing keeping me from giving it a must go.

    What the hell...

    by xxfaye

This movie sucked. I was utterly dissapointed by the poor acting and especially the ending. I mean, it was so sudden and stupid I wanted to puke. The girl and that guy literally had no relationship going on during the movie, only in the beginning and that ended before the movie even began, and suddenly they love each other at the end. Who does that? It was a slap to the face. I mean, it would have been a lot better if the guy who'd turned himself into a vampire suddenly attacked the girl, because I would have laughed so hard, and it would been a lot better than instant mushy love crap. I mean, there were some good parts that made me jump but that ending just ruined it all. I give this movie a rating of 2 out of 5. I've seen way better horror movies.

    30 DAYS OF NIGHT

    by MoviesRock87

Not since UNDERWORLD has a vampire film been more dark and sleek. The vampires are both unique and terrifying. Right from the start the long camera shots showing Alaska far out gives you that feeling of isolation. A good way of drawing the audience in. This is one of those few vampire flicks that actually has a cast who can really deliver. Even the short role from Ben Foster alone was chilling. That guy can play ANY character. There was one part in the film near the beginning when the vampire jumps on top of Josh Hartnett's vehicle. I wanted to point that scene out in particular because the way they showed the vampire slamming His fists on the car and thrashing around is something I've never seen done in a movie before. That scene was unbelievable. 30 DAYS OF NIGHT may not have the most genius storyline, but there's enough blood and violence to satisfy a true vampire film geek and keep the rest of us entertained to bits. B-
