La pelicula esta basada a jovenes guapos e inteligentes, matematicos al fin, donde ellos tienen la capacidad de saber cuales cartas faltan y al mismo tiempo ganar mucho dinero en la Vegas, pero se tropiecen con hobe que tambien se hizo rico porque conoce el formato atravez de un profesor de una universidad, la pelicula tiene un poco de suspenso,veanla.

Loved it.

I thought this was what movies are suppose to be about. A story you can follow, get involved in, care about the characters, and in the end you have learned something. I was entertained the entire way through, and the cast is great. If you want to go to a movie, enjoy your time there, and feel like you got your money's worth, this is one you can count on to deliver.

I took my 2 daughters (19 and 15), my nephew (15) and my niece (12) to see this movie as a "family" outing.
I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed it! There was one part that I didn't like because of my young niece, but, other than that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

i realy liked this movie!

21 was awsome! it was verry fast paced and kept you interested. Especially living in Boston i loved that they shot on location and had Boston landmarks in it. The card playing was realistic and the acting was verry good. And Kevin Spacey was great as usual. B+.

First off, going in I expected this to solidly warrant it's R rating. However, it hardly crosses the line between PG-13 and R. There is a very tame sex scene and I think what does it is that they meet at a strip club; other than that, nothing bad.

The premise of the film is the main character needs $300,000 to pay for Harvard Med School. He is trying to get a scholarship that would cover it, but doesn't have the "life experience" to "dazzle" the people that choose the scholarship winner. So, he has to find another way to scrape up the money, intro the underground counting club. After some reluctance, he decides to join as a "mean to an end." When he gets too into the glamour he begins to lose his best friends and things go downhill from there.

In the end you'll be thoroughly satisfied. I give it a solid 8 for humor and good plot and story lines.

Bringing Down the House was my favorite book, but "21" REALLY BLEW ME AWAY!

I loved the book by Ben Mezrich, and didn't know what to expect about the movie. I was pleasantly suprised by the way they adapted it. The plotline changed from the book, but the director, Luketic, really made it work, even tho it was different from the book. For hard core book lovers, it will definitely come as a surprise to see how they changed the storyline. But it is still a fast paced, enjoyable movie with lots of unexpected twists and turns. The cinematography is gorgeous, and this film is probably the first and best film to portray Boston, my hometown. You really get a feel for the character and beauty of the city. We went to a 8pm screening of it and the AUDIENCE CLAPPED at the end! THIS MOVIE IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!! GO SEE IT, you won't regret it! I'll double down on ur entrance fee that you will LOVE IT!

This movie was really fast pace for a while then it got really slow and i felt myself asking for it to be over. It was funny and a good story line, it had great potential and they mostly achieved that. Aaron Yoon makes the movie, watch him in the background hes hilarious.

You Can't Always Get What you Want...

...but you get what you need!

'21' is a good story and it is told in an enjoyable way. There are always consequences to taking risks, but there are rewards for making the right choices too. The music is great, the cinematography is appealing, the characters well-rounded, and the screenplay full of twists and turns, as any good story should be. Go see it!

Fun

Critics that are slamming this flick are taking themselves way too seriously... maybe they expected a word for word translation of Ben Mezrich's book... obviously the makers took liberty with the story... so what is new about that approach in Hollywood? The critics need to get over themselves and their lame reviews that only represent their interests and not the masses. Film goers that simply want to have fun and escape to the movies for a couple of hours will enjoy this.

Not a bad movie but not great. I lived in Boston when this was going on and it wasn't like the movie. It's not a waste of money but I would go see the Bank Job first.

I loved the film 21!! Since I always play Blackjack when I go to the casinos, I found it interesting to see them playing the game in so many different casinos. It was also very interesting to learn how they count cards, and to see them doing it in casinos too. It was full of suspense- I definitely didn't think that's how it was going to end!

I thought it was an action filled drama/comedy that was great. It was also unbelieveable that it was a true story. Action filled, exciting and a true eye opener. Living in the Las Vegas area still doesn't prepare one for the real world down on the strip.

Bottom line - great movie.

I was waiting to see this movie and I finally got to see it! I really enjoyed when the climax kicked in, even though it wasn't for a long time. I think the acting was great. I didn't expect the ending to be like how it was. There's a nice twist to the movie that I didn't think of. I wish they showed more of the card playing and training part. Very very pretty views of Vegas depicted in the movie! This type of movie, you can bring a friend or not. Some nudity in the strip clubs so might be awkward if you take a date (well it was for me), but it's a "Go" movie!
