Highly Intellectual, yet easy to follow. It brings Obama's own words into perspective of worldview not easily found in the US: Anti-Colonialist worldview. The interviews were well done and the observations from Mr. DeSousa were well founded in his own non-North American point of view.

I've always been curious about the history of President Obama. With all the rumors questioning his birth certificate, questioning his mentors, questioning his association with people like Bill Ayers, I've always wanted some help to clarify facts from fiction. Even here in Illinois nobody really knows anything about him. He had no experience, no significant accomplishments -- yet somehow he got elected president. How???
This movie really helps explain a lot of things I've questioned. Since Obama was elected I've been perplexed by many of his decisions. It seemed to me that his first priority should have been to do everything to stimulate our economy. Instead his first priority was to attack private enterprise. Think about it, banks are the enemy, oil companies are the enemy, credit card companies are the enemy, insurance companies are the enemy, coal burning energy companies are the enemy, etc. After watching this movie, you will better understand why he feels this way.

It is difficult to believe that any of the "OH NO!" reviewers took the time or paid the dough to see this documentay. Their comments have zero specifics as to what they are debating, so I doubt they saw it. It is far from abrasive, ala Michael Moore. It actually paints Mr. Obama in a fair and non-biased light. Most who seek public office are typically vetted to extremes. This was not the case with Mr. Obama in 2008. It's difficult to understand how a man with his idealogy is even elected city dogcatcher, let alone the highest office in the World! The change he believes in is polar opposite to what the United States Constitution stands for. Love him or hate him, you have to give him credit for what he has accomplished considering where he came from. He is truly, "The Manchurian Candidate", per se.........Go see this very factual bio, it will make you think when you go to the polls in November.

This documentary is based on Dinesh D'Souza's book "The Roots of Obama's Rage". It gives great insight into Obama's world views.
Dinesh outlines what we know about Obama's life mostly with info from Obama's book "Dreams From My Father" and interviews with family, friends and scholars.
If you are curious about Obama's background, this is a great start. If you are aware of Obama's shadowy background, this is a unique perspective on his actions as president. For instance, as president of the United States, why did he return a bust of Churchill back to England? Dinesh will give his background and a clear argument as to why Obama did this!

A good history lesson of Obama that helps to clarifiy his vision for America and how he arrived there. Doubt if it can be disputed since it was taken from the book that he wrote himself. Whether you are Republican or Democrat it was an interesting look at how the past can formulate your beliefs and direction in life. It is not a movie that bashes anyone.....simply brings you up to speed as to how he plans to move forward in the future IF he is re-elected. If there was one out on Romney I would go to see it as well. This is an important election so do yourself a favor and Be Informed prior to voting.
